Difference between Language, Langue and Parole

Difference between Language, Langue and Parole:

Langue involves systematic rules and agreements of a signifying system. Langue includes the principles of language, without which no meaningful utterance, ‘’parole’’, would be possible. Langue is the total system, for instance; French, German or English. It is the ideal language of the speaker, not the use. Saussure interpreted ‘Langue’ as something supra-individual. Parole refers to the real use of langue. It is the way a person speaks and uses a language. The term parole implies the actual, concrete act of speaking on the part of an individual. Saussure gave the name ‘parole’ to the speech-utterances we actually observe. It is the usage of the system, but not the system. Learning a language, we master the system of grammar, spelling, syntax and punctuation. Language is the whole idea of communication, langue the system or rules and parole the use.
